I never thought I would conduct a burial service, every Pastor, dreads and pray against this. I heard to do this for my dear cousin - one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do. You were a great guy, a man with a gentle spirit, not necessarily quiet but not a talkative either. Olympio always stood his ground, he made his point well, a light in any place he stepped into. His presence in any room was glorious, always jesting, laughing and smiling, a great friend and brother. Our visit to Sweden several years ago was very enjoyable because we stayed with you and you took us everywhere and never hesitated to attend the launch of the Cabouchon business in Sweden, which we came for as well. Even when we had to stay two extra days due to flight cancellations, we had no regrets. Gbenga : always young at heart, cheerful and jovial but somehow we lost contact. I'm so glad you committed your life to Christ several years ago, as l had to do several years ago; All of us having grown up in the Church (MOUNT SINAI) and fellowshipped together, ministering and drumming in the choir. WE WERE SO PROUD THAT GREAT MEN AND WOMEN were foundation members of our great church, founded by your Dad, Snr. Apostle Emmanuel Ogunjobi (Alagba Gidigbo), some of these members which included King Sunny Ade, Sound Millionaires, Segun Adewale and a number of others. We saw a great number of celebrities and government officials and other VIPs (very important persons) come for prayers and go. Gbenga, you left early but we take solace in the fact that you left a legacy, through great memories and imprints you left in our lives. With the wonderful family you have left behind; particularly your wife and children and grandchildren, we pray that God will take care of them for you and we ourselves will rally round them too. We know that you now rest on the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ and cracking jokes there. Sun re o, my great friend and dear cousin. God bless your family and siblings in Jesus' mighty name... Amen.
